ABOUT US
Gulab was created to provide a space for women to connect and compete through the sport they love: basketball.
“Gulab” is the Punjabi word for “Rose”🌹. A Rose symbolizes love and passion, so it was only right to name this league Gulab, as our love and passion for basketball is ultimately what keeps us playing the game.
This journey began with my vision of growing the women’s basketball community in the GTA and that is not possible without the support of our players, who exemplify how basketball brings us all together. Â
For the love of the game, Gulab will continue to provide women with a space to compete, grow, and enjoy the beautiful game of basketball.Â
With love,
Komal
